Cookie policy

This policy explains how the Baltic AI Commerce Association uses cookies and similar technologies on baltics.ai, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

What are cookies

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by other services (for example, embedded forms or analytics tools) are "third-party" cookies.

Why we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function - for example, to remember your cookie consent preferences and to keep forms secure.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate so we can improve it. GA4 is loaded only after you grant analytics consent via our cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2, IP anonymisation, and we do not enable Google Signals or ads personalisation features.
  • Third-party embeds. Our newsletter, contact, membership and event registration forms are submitted to a third-party form and CRM service, which may set its own cookies when the form is loaded to prevent abuse and remember form state.

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, retargeting, or profiling.

Your choices

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. You can also opt out of analytics cookies specifically through the browser's Do-Not-Track setting where supported, and through the settings of the analytics provider.

Third-party services

When you interact with an embedded third-party form or link on the Site (for example the newsletter form or a partner tool), that third party's own cookie policy applies to those interactions.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
